Waitangi Day

Image result for waitangi day treatyThe Treaty for Waitangi Day was signed on the 6th of February, 1840 (a long time ago). It's about giving the Maori and the British piece and being together. Ever since 1840 Waitangi Day has been a public holiday for most people. 500 warriors signed the Treaty and most of the Maori's and British people. Waitangi Day represents New Zealand and the Maori's and other country's that came to sign it. The Treaty was signed in the Bay Of Islands.
