The Dog that looks like a Human

This picture of a dog looks so like a human. His name is Yogi and he is one year old. I feel like its a filter because of its eyes and lips. When Yogi's owner Chantal Desjardins posted the photo on Facebook the picture went viral. Her friends noticed that there was something different about him. I think it is a real dog because it's fur looks real.  It's eyes and lips don't look real though. What do you think?

Bronze for NZ at Paralympics winter games

Corey Peters won the first medal for New Zealand at the PyeongChang Paralympic Winter Games 2018. This man won a bronze for his Men's Downhill Sitting ski race. Corey has recently won another silver medal in the Giant Slalom about 4 years ago. Due to his spinal cord injury he has to race in Sport Class LW12-1. I think this man is very talented for what he does because nothing has stopped him for what he likes doing. I picked this article because he has inspired me. He has done New Zealand a favour!

99 year old swimmer breaks world record

99 year old swimmer breaks world record

99 year old George Corones smashed the world record for his age group for 50m freestyle. He clocked 56.12 seconds at an event in Queensland. George was the only swimmer in his age group (100-104). He passed his last time by 35 seconds. He started swimming again at age 80! 

I think this man is a very confident swimmer. I am very proud of him and it shows that what ever age you are you can still swim.

Weekly Reflection

This week has been so AWESOME! I've loved playing Dodge ball at lunch time and I've loved our rotations. Lately we have been playing Capture the Flag.
