Camp

This week I am in Whenua because Whetu is going to camp and I can't go because I broke my finger:( They went to Totara Springs.And they have to stay for 2 nights and 3 days.They do fun activity's like the flying fox
and a hydro slide.They also have hot pools.At night they get to pick there dinner and there desert.After,they have a quiet time like a board game or a cards.Then they've got till 8.30 till 9.00 to go to sleep.Today they are coming back after school and on Thursday they will have a lot of things to tell there family and friends!

The Black Caps

Today at school we are supporting the Black Caps because they won the Cricket Semi-final! I am so happy that they are going through to the Finals because I wanted them to have a chance to succeed in something.So we dressed in black.But I didn't dress in black because I didn't get a notice.

Writing

I am learning to make a wonderful brainstorm.

waiting for a drink of water. Ocean crashes against the chaos sand.

Fluffy clouds are making pictures like teddy bears.Sticks are spread

across the yellow sand.

Writing

I have been learning to write cameo about spring.

To start with add a dip of green grass.

Boil some bright pink lilies.

Roll some rich blueberries in the bucket.

Stir rapidly while adding drops of cool rain.   

Mix the burning hot sun.

Combine winter fruits and vegetables together.

Pour in a field of yellow daffodils swaying in the breeze.

Splash a bit of cherry blossoms in the recipe.

Tip in a bucket of lambs and calves from your farm.

Add some bright rainbow coloured ducklings and chicks.

Pick some new leaves off the tree and plonk them in the bowl.

Boil some ice blocks and put them in the fridge.

Leave it to go cold in winter,let it defrost in summer, and enjoy!

Reading

Reading is my favourite thing because I like doing my cloze activity because it challenges me  and  I  love to get challenged.
