The History of Football

England was the first country to come up with a running around kicking a ball game. In 1855, a U.S. inventor Charles Goodyear invented the Soccer Ball. He was well known for being a self-taught chemist and manufacturing engineer who made vulcanised rubber. The Soccer ball was made in America.

It was quite a popular sport when my parents were young but non of my family really watched Soccer. My cousin in Australia plays Soccer and helps with the Soccer team Barcelona.

Weekly Reflection

Term 4 Week 2

This week was been a week full of sport. I had Monday Futsal training and Thursday and Friday Tennis. Monday was Labour Day so we didn't go to school. Tuesday I was sick with Hay Fever and a little cough. On Wednesday was Calf Club. Ella and I helped since we could not show our calves. We sold raffle tickets, made sausage and breads and helped outside the Lamb and Kid rings. I really enjoyed watching my friend Elizabeth with her goat Roger. I have really enjoyed this week!

Labour Weekend

I predicted my Labour Weekend will be scorching hot. Usually Labour Weekend is quite warm and stuffy. It's going into Summer time now and it's starting to get very hot in the afternoons. It will be a good weekend to get out and active. I wish I had a swimming pool!

My goal for this term is to get an award at the end of year Prize Giving. I have been trying very hard this year to get an award at Prize Giving. Last year I got two badges and I was really happy with myself.
