A phobia is more than a fear. A phobia is something that is more extreme or irrational than a fear. A fear is an emotion of scared and a threat of danger. My phobia is I hate taps dripping and I get really irrated about it. My fear is heights. I HATE heights. When I go on some rides at Rainbows End I get really scared. 

Agyrophobia, Dromophobia - Fear of streets or crossing the street.

Achluophobia, Lygophobia, Nyctophobia, Scotophobia - Fear of darkness.

Aichmophobia, Belonephobia, Emetophobia - Fear of needles or pointed objects.

Christmas Talent Show

A girl that loves dancing but thinks her Dad isn't watching. Her Dad is so busy with his work that when his daughter shows him her dance he hardly pays attention. I think her Mum was at work or maybe she passed away. The advice I would give to her Dad is to actually pay attention to his daughter and what she believes in. I think she feels I little happy that her Dad is trying to help and push her into doing something that she is passionate about.

I named my ice cream Cherry Delight. I would love to eat a real fruit ice cream made out of cherries. Just imagine a nice creamy real fruit ice cream. YUMMM!!!!

List 5 water/summer safety tips:

1. Keep between the flags.

2. Watch out for other children.

3. Make sure where you swim you can touch the bottom.

4. Look out for rips.

5. Try to stay away from rocks.

Where is your favorite place to swim?

My favorite place to swim is Whitianga beach as it's always so warm and calm to swim in. Further up the beach, there is a creak and usually, there are mini fish. In parts of the creak, it's warm and in other parts it's cold.

What is your best summer/swimming memory?

My best swimming memory was when I learned how to do a back handspring in the deep end.

What do you think the world would be like if?

What do you think the world would be like if kids had tails? I think they would all be whipping each other and hurting each other. They would probably get into fights and start seriously hurting other children.

What do you think the world would be like if leaves were fish? It would be quite different. Us humans wouldn't be able to eat fish. If fish were leaves we probably wouldn't have even tried fish in our lives. Just imagine, what trees would have if leaves were fish!

What do you think the world would be like if toes were teeth? I think if toes were teeth that would be quite gross! Just imagine getting toe jam or something in there! EWWW! The one thing that would be kind of cool is you could paint your "toe nails". I would really struggle to eat my food.

My favourite entree is garlic bread. I used to HATE garlic bread when I was younger as I didn't like the stuff in the middle especially when it was runny. I love garlic bread as my entree because I like the garlicky taste to it. 

1. 1 16-ounce loaf of Italian bread or French bread.
2. 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened.
3. 2 large cloves of garlic, smashed and minced.
4. 1 heaping tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley.
5. 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese(optional)

   

My favourite main is Butter Chicken. Lavanya's parents make the best Butter Chicken on the planet as it's so creamy and the chicken is not fatty. I don't really like Butter Chicken that you buy in the big malls because they put food colouring in it to make it more orange. It's my favourite main dish because it fills you up and it's so creamy.

6 tablespoons butter, divided

2 lbs chicken breasts, cut into 1″ chunks

1 yellow onion, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 Tbsp garam masala

1 Tbsp fresh grated ginger

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1 1/2 cups tomato sauce**** (or one 14 oz can would work)

2 cups cream*

salt & pepper

lime & cilantro, for garnish

My favourite dessert is a Chocolate Brownie. I usually get a Chocolate Brownie for dessert at Cobb & Co (my favourite restaurant). I love brownies because they are usually so chocolatey and I love when they are topped off with icing sugar.

1. 200g dark chocolate.
2. 100g unsalted butter, very soft.
3. 250g caster sugar.
4. 4 large free range eggs, beaten to mix.
5. 1tsp vanilla essence.
6. 60g plain flour.
7. 60g cocoa powder.
8. 15cm square brownie tin or baking tin.
