Cross Country Reflection
Monday was our NPS Cross Country. When I woke up I was so nervous and I was excited for when it was over. Our race was last and I was so annoyed because it would be extra muddy for us and I wanted to get it over and done with. I had a sore tummy all day until my race. I had to eat three pieces of pizza to calm me down. I watched the younger kids with my friends until my race. When it was time for my race, me and my friends were freaking out and we all felt like peeing. Before our race, we had to do some stretches and I was so nervous.
We then lined up for our race and the motorbike drove off and we followed the motorbike. I stepped on a massive prickle while I was running threw the mud. Then on our second lap, we had to run up the Killer Hill. It was so hard and my calve muscles are so sore. When I crossed the finish line I sat down on the grass because my ankle was so sore. Then, me and Ella got our juicie and our sausage and bread. I went back to Ella's house after and once we washed our legs, we jumped in the spa pool and watched a movie.
